Mid-Am District Officiating

Mid-Am District Referee Registration numbers for 2022-23 Total registrations increased 351, the number Complete (eligible to skate games) increased 251. These are the highest numbers ever for the District, in line with the increased numbers nationally. 53% are at Level 1, up from 45% last year and we did have a net loss of 39 in the Level 3-4 group, which are the most experienced officials. This post contains several updates from the district and national level. 13U Only Tier I This year, USA Hockey will sponsor an additional championship at the 13U only level. Similar to the 15U only age group, this championship will be restricted to minor birth-year teams at this age level. The 12 district champions will be selected to participate in this tournament and no at-large bids will be accepted.
